You will agree with me that leadership is one of those fun anticipated rides, very exciting for starters, exasperating and boring midway, and saddening at the end. Making a legacy is a step by step process and maintaining it is even more challenging. My Journey began from the roots as I was elected class captain in 2021 which equipped me with skills such as self-confidence, and public speaking.
However, this seemed unsatisfactory to me. Asking my self what was the relevance of such skills if they could not be incorporated. Always pondering and longing for a chance and promising my self to grab it if it came my way. A chance came my way when I was elected as the deputy general house minister in 2023, a position that I served wholeheartedly.
The following year, in 2024 I was elected head boy “O” level SMACOL. With God’s grace I made it this far. Thanks to all that have moved this journey with me especially my teachers and mentors for always bringing out the best in me.
Our ride is ending and this is very saddening on my part, too hard to get over.
