Our History
St. Mary’s College Lugazi started in 2008 on the 2nd January. After being launched, The first day opened with around 7 students that were outnumbered by the number of teachers who were 26. However, the story had changed by the end of the year, closing with about 300 students. The college was started by Senior educationists led by Mr. Ssenyonjo Moses K. (Pioneer Headteacher Naalya S. S Namugongo).
The school is managed by a Board of Directors that constituted:
Mr.Matovu Vicent (Director Finance Proprietor our Lady of Africa schools,
Mr.Mukungu Mbuga (ABC) Director Academics and pioneer Deputy Head teacher Naalya S.S Namugongo,
Mrs. Freda Ssenyonjo and Mr. Ssenyonjo Moses.
