Student leadership at St. Mary’s College Lugazi is built on responsibility, service, and integrity. Our leadership structure empowers learners to contribute to the smooth running of the school while developing essential skills in teamwork, communication, and decision-making. The system is anchored by the Prefectorial Board, supported by Dorm Captains in the boarding sections and Class Monitors at classroom level.
Prefect Team
The Prefect Team forms the core of student leadership at SMACOL. Prefects are selected through a rigorous and transparent process based on character, discipline, and demonstrated commitment to the values of the school.
Their responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership and guidance to the student body
